I have been involved in the campaign to save the Heavens since January 2023 and I am currently a Director. I live about ten minutes away from the Heavens Valley and have been a regular visitor there for 30 years. My day job is as a facilitator and coach - I facilitated our March meeting at the Sub Rooms when we launched our campaign.

I am passionate about keeping the Heavens as open access for the community forever and as a tranquil natural place, for walking and relaxation and I support our efforts to assess and increase its biodiversity.

I have been working on Volunteer Management this year, communicating with those who have volunteered and organising workdays in The Heavens. I am also part of the Community Engagement Sub group, working on plans to engage people in the local area on creating a long term mandate and plan for the Heavens over the next year. I am on the staffing group,finalising details of two part-time posts, due to our amazing recent funding grant.

I bring over 30 years of experience in working within organisations of all sizes, originally in HR roles and that of working with a wide range of people. I am looking forward to working with the Directors and the community over the next year to set us up for long term success.
