I live right next to the Heavens Valley and have been part of the campaign since it began, first as one of the co-ordinators for the Action Group and later as a director and co-ordinator for the Heavens Valley CBS.

In my role as director, I’ve helped create our voice in the community with our communications strategy, supported our shareholders, been involved with fundraising, and taken care of much of the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the CBS moving forward. I was closely involved in negotiating the land purchase and have often represented the CBS publicly.

I began my career in PR, working in some of the top agencies in the industry, then moved into marketing and later, local journalism. More recently, I trained as a Cognitive Therapist and moved to Stroud in 2019, drawn to its green spaces and strong community ethos where everyone pulls together and fights for what they believe.

Living beside the Heavens, I walk there at least twice a week with my two dogs. I would love the chance to continue as a director, helping provide continuity at this exciting stage. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together so far and inspired by what we can create for the future.
